The square tooth screw and nut tend to fill with sawdust, which saturates with oil to cause the threads to bind (like a dirty nut and bolt.).

Clean the bolt with a cleaner, then apply a little wax to the threads (crayon or bees wax). Be sure to run the assembly up and down to cover the whole "bolt" and make sure to apply to the point of the screw that assures some of the wax works into the nut.

Wax is less likely to cause wood dust "mud" that WD-40 or other lubricants would cause.

Check the slides or guides that guide the assembly as well. CLean and lubricate with wax as needed.

Let me know what you find out.

SOURCE: Kenmore Classic Grille model 911-469-8813 error F2

Over time I have had to replace the control module at the front of the oven. It gets baked by the oven heat, and unfortunately costs hundreds of dollars to replace. I have avoided further failures by making sure the downdraft exhaust fan is ALWAYS on when the oven is on. This seems to keep it cool enough.

SOURCE: hello we have a polar guillotine

Hi.
Its caused by the clutch disc binding on the shaft. Usually a strip down and clean up sorts the fault.

Lubricating most likely is not enough based on your description. You need to adjust the alignment of the blade raising worm gears. This is covered in the manual on page 12.
Here is an exerpt:
Blade Raising Mechanism
Adjustment
If binding occurs, clean off all sawdust and pitch
buildup and re-lubricate with a good non-
hardening grease. If binding continues, check
the fit-up of the worm and worm gear segment.
The worm must be centered with the worm gear
segment. If it is not centered, loosen the saw raising arm set screws, move the arm as
required, and re-lock the set screws. See Figure
22.
