If the error persistes and you are not attempting to send a fax unsuccessfully, it would indicate a false error report and that your registry in your operating is a bit out of order where the printer is concerned and the best "final" solution would be to uninstall the printer from the Control Panel COMPLETELY, then hold down the WIndows logo key and press the R key. A Run window will appear. Type in %temp% and hit ENTER. Your Temp File folder's contents will appear. Left click one in that window and then hold down the CTRL key and hit the A key.
