I need to replace the lower igniter on my GE oven. There is very little clearance between the bottom of the oven and the igniter screws. What is the best way to access those screws: remove the metal plates in the bottom of the oven or pull out the oven burner (to which the igniter is attached)? Thanks in advance.

Depending on model remove burner assembly or thru bottom drawer and remove ignitor from burner assembly.
