The printer is diplaying the error code S96-322, can anyone help?

    Hc5500: I had an error code that indicates change Ink; I have put new catridge in but the error keeps coming up. How can I clear it?
    Please demon4u and others I need a help.

The code s96 322 is given when the waste ink tank is not in the machine, its in the base on right side behind a metal plate held by one large screw. A sensor in that area is not been made by the bottle/tank. ph 00353863668225 dermot
