Common LG LCD TV REPAIR - NO PICTURE OR BLACK SCREEN FIX ... came on good with green light working properlybut still no picture.
This sounds like a known issue for this TV. LG has a service bullentin #0IVL20090710 regarding this issue.
Try calling LG and let them know about your TV having the know issue and the service bullentin 0IVL20090710. They should fix your TV under a warranty. So be nice when you call to schedule your in home warranty.
the red light blinks due to a problem in the power supply or deflection circuit, this usually happens when one or two components start changing specified value or just entirely go out. Some samsung tvs do have replaceable boards but you still need to pinpoint the problem to a certain circuit board, either deflection or power board. It may be worth it to call a service tech and describe the problem to get a good idea on the repair cost.
Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.
