I have an error code of L4-03 on my sharp MX 950, how do I fix it?

Ensure you are in COPY mode
press # * C * ( one after the other, fairly quickly)
when the screen changes enter the number 14 on the keypad
press the B&W start button
press 1 for Yes when the question displays
press thw CA button
machine will re-boot and fault should clear. If it doesnt you need a service engineer. This is a fuser temperature fault

SOURCE: I have a Sharp MX-6201N copier that is showing

U2-10 is 'SRAM user authentication check sum error'

Press P * C * to enter the service 'simulation' mode then enter 16 on the key pad and press the start button.
You will be in U code clear.
Press 'execute' on the screen.
The machine should reboot.
It may start to work again.
If not you will need to replace either SRAM chip or the main board.

Hallow, this occurs due to the document glass problem. This may be due to powering it on when the glass is removed or the glass being locked in the reverse side. This may also be as a result of copy lamp being off.
Solution

• Check that the copy lamp is lighting well. Check for the copy board of replace copy lamp.
• Check that the document glass is well screwed and the white part should be in the front side.
• This does not need resetting once you do the above , it should not show again.
