According to Lg Ue error code is an unbalanced load error code or uneven load error code you can also click this link from the LG site which describes some ways to alleviate the problem of the UE error code http://lgknowledgebase.com/kb/index.php?View=entry&EntryID=800. I have also found that if these ways do not remove the problem you may have to open the unit and check the damper struts that attach to the tub assembly. If one of these struts were not to be attached or have broken, or came away from the tub assembly this would also cause the UE error code as well with the unit. Also if you remove the rear panel you will see the stator which is basicly the motor as well as an rps sensor which helps the stator to rotate. I also have found that in some cases the center bolt that holds the stator in place sometimes unloosens and unscrews as well also causing this UE error code. So you would first try the methods that LG has listed in order to alleviate the UE error code and if there methods did not work then you would first look at the stator center screw to assure that it is tightened and in place. And secondly if the stator screw were in proper place and tight then you would look at the damper struts in the unit lastly. If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, the final spin result might be unsatisfactory and an UE error message will be shown in the display. Unbalance error is cleared by POWER switch OFF and back ON.

An UE Error Code is indicative of a “Unbalanced Error”. This indicates that the drum is not spinning in a smooth rotation. It may be necessary to rearrange the load in the drum. I found this answer on the lg web site.

For "ue" an unbalanced load is sensed three times, re-adjust your load in the machine.

For e1, it could be a water sensor problem. Check to see if the inlet valve is okay and not clogged, water shd be in good pressure. If this is okay, open up behind after taking the plug off the wall. There is a thin tube coming from the switch area to the outlet pump area; disconnect this from the top carefully and blow into it, it should be free; if it is clogged you will hav a water level problem. Unblock and refit carefully.
