You need to contact Alpine and get the code from there unless someone has the same model with the code

well it wouldnt let me post besides the stupid comment it showed you.....
All i got when trying to retrieve the code is this "
We have detected a problem with the supplied serial number
The serial number entered " " did not correctly match the format required for Alpine radios we are able to decode via our website, this may be due to you entering the wrong information, or could be that our system is unable to decode your specific model.
i suggest you contact the dealer where you purchased this stereo and or alpine themselves via thier website.

Could you please be a little more specific in code, is it the unlock code and if so may i ask why you havnt got it, as this is usually issued when purchased from dealer?

Call Your Local Dealership And Ask For The Security Code. They Will Ask For The Serial Number You Noted And Then Give You The Code For Your Exact Unit. The Code Isn't The Same For All Of The Units As It Is For Security Purposes.

You need to send it back to the manufacturer. Only they can unlock it. Obviously, you are the only one of 25 plus people with the same problem that actually sounds legit!! A lot of thes units are stolen with or without the new owners knowledge.

Make sure you have the radio code found inside your model information packet inside your glovebox...it will be on the radio and communications pamphlet. It is in safe-mode right now, so press and hold the FM button and the scan button until 1000, or whatever number is stored in your safe mode, appears. Enter your code by selecting the pre-set radio station buttons until the corresponding number appears; press and hold the FM button and scan button again and your radio should be reset.
Also try these......
Press and hold the AM/FM and SCAN buttons again until the radio comes on. If you fail to give the correct code after two tries, the unit will be locked in "safe" mode and won't change. To try again, leave it switched on for approximately one hour.

U can't do it by yourself because the unit has 'locked out' . if the code has been entered incorrectly too many times. After that u want to decoded the unit. This is the link which website can solve your problem. fee is 4 to 5 $

Turn unit on it will ask for a CODE TYPE 21334.
The colors are: red, black,dark blue, purple, gray, yellow white, green, and brown. A second red wire is labeled "for interface 2007."

After switching on the unit the display shows 'CODE' with the 'C' flashing.
Turn the { RIGHT HAND CHANNEL SELECTOR CONTROL ] clockwise until the display changes to '1 - - - -'
Enter the code using the [ RIGHT HAND CHANNEL SELECTOR CONTROL] selecting the number then pressing the control in to enter, follow this process for the remaining digits.
On the last digit press and hold the control in for a few seconds, the code will then be accepted
I believe you can see the code on the owner's manual. If you don't have it, only the manufacturer can give you the code as long as the serial # of your device is registered under your name or account. Call the manufacturer first.
Do you have the user manual of that.if yes its mentioned in it on the manual.

This radio model 2910 is made by two manufacturers ALPINE and BECKER.
BECKER codes can be decoded by using calculator software and so the code 63623 you have been given is the code for the BECKER ( I have checked it)
Your radio is made by ALPINE (because the Serial Number begins with AL ) and unfortunately ALPINE can NOT be calculated.The code should be held on the Mercede Dealer`s original factory database.
If your Mercedes Dealer cannot provide you with this Alpine code , then the radio will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service ( such as your local Car Radio/Audio Store) where they will open it up and wire it to a laptop in order to read the code inside the memory chip (EEPROM) using specialist software.

I have no manual or any other info. I purchased the 1998 Mercedes SLK 230 "as is"
The radio was made in Japan for Mercedes Benz. The dealer has given me 2 different codes.. both evidently wrong. The code is 5 digits.
