High pressure oil cooler lines

No easy way. It is a pain job. Correct size wrenches most important. No adjustables. Fan and shroud and underpan removed helps. Most of the time you need to remove the front motor motor mount to get a good purchase on the front housing fitting. Most critical is to use two wrenches on the cooler, making sure that the fittings that goes into the cooler do not move , leaks will occur and if you try tighten the fitting, you will crack the housing boss and ruin the cooler. Removing the front mount requires holding the engine up with a holder of hoist. When installing, do not overtighten at the oil cooler.

1986 mazda rx7 wont start

Need to make sure it is turning fast enough, and cranking voltage does not go below 10V. if it does there are issues with battery/cables/wiring/starter. If it cranks fast with no start, check plugs and wires, recommend NGK only. No they are not cheap but they are the best value for the normal driver. IF they are good and fuel delivery is good, a compression test would be recommended. FSM can be found at foxed.ca

Where is the clutch located on a mazda rx7 1986? i

The clutch assembly is located inside the 'bell-housing' which is the flared forward section of the gearbox. Hence, the tailshaft and gearbox need be removed to inspect clutch condition.

Why the power steering is hard for rx7

Hi I am vortash .. if the steering is hard it sounds as if you either have a fluid leak ( or it just requires topping up ) or the power steering rack or pump are faulty... check if there are obvious signs of fluid loss around the rack or the pump .. check the hydraulic pipes to the power steering are not damaged , you may need to bleed the system if you have let the fluid go too low .. and this may be better done by a garage as they have the correct equipment to do it safely ... hope this is of help regards Vortash
