My Casablanca Fan has a light. Both fan and light are controlled by a Versa Touch 2 remote control. The fan controls work, but light turns on, then dims and turns off. Can't make it stay on.
I'm converting a casablanca fan to work with a casa wall control system. Scrapping the intellitouch board and wall switch. Any suggestions on what to use?
my Casablanca fan with w-32 wall control intelliswitch now will only go to level 2 and will not reverse. I don't have a light. Is the problem in the switch or in the control board?
the fan is intermittently not working, without doing anything after a day or two the fan control works again... and speed and light will function, then after many days / weeks of good usage... the same thing happens... the light doesnt work... the speed etc... problem with the sensor???
My casablanca ceiling fan switch doesn't seem to be working (4-item switch: bottom = power, 3rd = reverse, 2nd = fan on/off, 1st = light on/off. How do I fix? Though 4th button (power) is ON, light and fan don't go on when I push switches. Previously, the light would flicker unless I had the fan on at the same time.
I have a Casablanca fan with light kit. The lights were on, not the fan, there was a a noise like one bulb was burning out but all of the lights went out and the fan doesn’t work.
My remote won't turn off the light. It will correctly turn the fan on and off, adjust the fan speed, go into security mode, etc, but when I try to switch off the light, it dims the light but won't turn it off completely. I installed fresh batteries in the remote, and also tried changing the dip switch settings, but the results are the same.
During a power surge the fan stopped working. I ordered and replaced the receiver. After installing the receiver, when turned on, the fan clicks as if it is going to start working- but no blades turn. The electrician says it is getting joice. This fan does not have the light attached. Any ideas of the problem- or what -else I can check?
Thanks much,
Bob
Cannot find Model Number of my Casablanca. Have serial # and name of model Panama5. Flywheel dropped and spokes disintegrated. Had help from kids party antics we think. Motor runs fine. Do I have to remove the shaft to install new flywheel as some experts recommend ?
Fan is hung from two story ceiling. Taking it down requires getting special ladder. 10 footer not enough.
I have a Casablanca Intellitouch fan and had a short in the light kit. The light kit has been completely rewired and is now short free but the lights won't go on when I hit the wall control - I only hear tones. The fan works fine - just a problem with the lights. I replaced the wall control switch - with no change. Could the RMM control unit in the fan have been blown out?
I think the ceiling fan is between 30 and 40 years old. I bought it on ebay and have been trying to find information about repair and restoration. The fabric is teteriorated and needs replacing. It looks like it was meant to keep insects out of the motor. The fan also wobbles. What do I need to re-balance it, and where can I find a replacement wall switch or get the switch repaired?
thanks
fan stopped turning and It took the blades off, moved the decoration ring around the motor. moved the flywheel and re-tighten the setscrew
put all decoration cover back in place and remounted fan blades. fan started buzzing, light is OFF, if I turn fan OFF it will continue to buzz until the blade stops turning. sound is minimal at lowest speed and get louder with increased speed settings ( think there are 4)
Casablanca ceiling fan, probably mid-80s model with W11 intellitouch, now the thing beeps very loudly about twice per hour. The fan still functions as normal, lights and fan works. Beeping occurs whether the fan is operating or not. Turning the power switch off at the intellitouch control doesn't make any difference. Can't get model # right now since I'm at work, but I figure the solution isn't model specific. Model listed is a guess. Thanks!
I have three casablanca fans in three rooms. An electrician installing electrical outlets, in the attic says he only accessed the main power line. However, all three fans suddenly malfuctioned in the same manner with my wall w32 wall switch. Once the fan button was pushed for on, it wouldn't turn off. it went faster with each push till max speed and could only turn off with the power button. When turned on, they each go immediately to high speed. I need help!
I have a Casablanca ceiling fan/light that is hardwired to a wall control panel. Is it possible to get a separate remote for this and program it if needed as well?
